Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled a fire on the first floor of a disused property using a hose reel jet. The aerial ladder platform was mobilised to help crews tackle the fire from above, where it is believed the fire had spread to loft space. Firefighters removed the roof tiles to search for hot spots. Crews were in attendance for two hours.
