Charity Car Wash at your local fire station Bring your car along for a wash as our fire fighters take part in a charity car wash. Fire fighters will be washing cars weekend of 13th September to help raise money for the Firefighters''s charity as part of National Car Wash Day. The public are invited to bring their car to the nearest Fire Station to be washed in return for a charitable donation. Stations taking part are:Runcorn, Warrington, Ellesmere Port, Congleton, Macclesfield, Chester, Northwich, Winsford, Widnes, Stockton Heath, Holmes Chapel, Audlem, Crewe, Birchwood and Wilmslow |

Public Open Day A fun day out for all the family is guaranteed when Cheshire Police and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service open the gates to their Public Open Day Experience. The free event will be action packed on Sunday, 21st September, and will feature modern day police and fire appliances working alongside vintage vehicles to recreate a road traffic display with a difference. |

Powerful Student Safety Campaign As thousands of students prepare to live away from home for the first time, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is launching a pioneering and innovative campaign to inform students of the dangers of too much alcohol and fire. The Service is working closely with local universities and colleges to promote the message ‘Before You Pull Tonight Make Sure You Have Protection’. |

Recruitment of Retained Duty System Firefighters We are currently recruiting part-time Firefighters, known as ''Retained Duty System Firefighters'' at five of our local fire stations. We are recruiting at Frodsham Fire Station, Middlewich Fire Station, Stockton Heath Fire Station, Winsford Fire Station and Audlem Fire Station. |

Red Routes - Roads with a high risk of a crash Across Cheshire, Halton and Warrington, 20 routes have been identified as roads which carry the highest risk to road users of suffering a potentially fatal crash. Each route will be marked with red road signs, classifying them as Red Routes. Please use the link above to find out if you travel on any of the red routes and what to do to make your drive home safer. |
