The main purpose of this job roles is to manage, support and contribute to the delivery of King’s Trust Team programmes across Cheshire.
Assisting the Education Manager, you will ensure effective monitoring, supervision, management, and co-ordination of all aspects of the delivery for King’s Trust personal development courses.
You will also be required to work collaboratively with other prevention department leads to provide resilience through supporting the delivery and co-ordination of resources across all Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service educational programmes.
Duties will cover/ include:
Planning and co-ordinating delivery of King’s Trust Team programmes, liaising with King’s Trust, funding colleges and all organisations to support the programme units.
Undertaking management of King’s Trust delivery staff, partners and volunteers.
Managing King’s Trust budget allocation and identifying additional funding opportunities to enhance delivery. Work with the finance department and team leaders to enable timely and correct invoicing processes.
Manage Quality Assurance across King’s Trust Teams
Plan and co-ordinate the residential requirement of the programme, liaising with procurement for provision.
To maintain an up-to-date awareness and understanding of relevant Safeguarding and Data protection policy and procedures and ensure all staff
Work with King’s Trust leaders and Events Co-ordinator to manage the team graduation.
Submit regular reports on the performance, activities and issues of King’s Trust teams to line management, Head of Departments, the necessary policy groups and Fire Authority meetings.
Manage health and safety across all areas of the programme.
Actively promote the King’s Trust Team programme across Cheshire.
Requirements of the role include:
Degree or equivalent in Youth/Education
Proven experience of managing and supervising staff
Proven experience of working with challenging young people in a supervisory role
Experience of performance management
Knowledge, background and track record of negotiating agreements and successful delivery with partner agencies
Experience of budget management
