Fire safety information for children

StayWise

StayWise was launched on 20 January 2021 and it is a free digital, safety education library brought to you by the UK emergency services and several national safety organisations.

The website is full of resources that advance children’s understanding of public safety issues linked to the national curriculum, helping children and young people learn about safety in an accessible way. Led by the National Fire Chiefs Council, StayWise brings together fire and rescue services, police forces, ambulance services and the coastguard with national safety charities like the Royal National Lifeboat Institute, the Royal Life Saving Society, and the Injury Minimisation Programme for Schools.

StayWise makes it easy for teachers, home-schooling parents and community educators to teach young people about safety whilst meeting the needs of the national curriculum.
