We work closely with children and young people, recognising the benefits of youth engagement programmes. Not only does this interactive work reduce the risk of arson and anti-social behaviour, it gives young people opportunities to develop and equips them with skills to make a positive contribution in the community.
We have thriving Fire Cadet units, Prince’s Trust Team Programmes (we were the first fire and rescue service to participate in the Team Programme and are celebrating 30 years’ involvement in 2023), Respect and Primary Respect engagement and much more.
