Arriving at base camp

We’ve now arrived at our first base camp and are all thoroughly enjoying the adventure.

The flight from Paphlu to the capital of Kathmandu was fine, and after leaving the airport we all jumped in a jeep to make the trip to the camp.

Our camp is based on the outskirts of Budhinanda and everyone in the group is doing well and excited for what’s ahead.

Since getting to base camp we’ve not been able to get any mobile data to send pictures, but we did manage to make a quick phone call to keep everyone at home up to date with how it’s going.

We’ll keep trying to send updates and hopefully the reception will get better as the trek goes on.
