Face paint, flowers and sore feet

This morning we started from Budhidanda after a night enduring a rainstorm. The trek was challenging and we dropped 1,200 m before climbing back up 700m

We then arrived at Bakhpalam school which is 1,890m above sea level. There we were welcomed with face paint, Mala flowers and music. We enjoyed a beautiful meal this evening with the Head Teacher.

Everybody is feeling tired and have sore feet but spirits are high.
