School officially open but the hard work continues

Following the school opening ceremony yesterday, we continued our work by varnishing more benches and moving 13 tons of earth and rock to provide protection from the monsoon rain. Adam did a fantastic job designing, drawing and painting the mural on the school wall to ensure our legacy would remain for years to come.

After an intensive football match with the local children , which we only just won, we finally found somewhere with the first access to Wi-Fi since we left Kathmandu. This gave everyone chance to catch up with loved ones at home which was a special and emotional experience to share with the group.
