Firefighters were called to a fire involving the trailer of an articulated lorry situated on a service area car park, southbound on the M6 at Knutsford Services. The cab had been disconnected prior to their arrival and a hose reel was used to extinguish the trailer, which was well alight. A thermal imaging camera was used to check the fire was fully out before crews left.
