One fire engine from Wilmslow and two from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (Wythenshawe and Cheadle)

A garage attached to a property was involved in a fire and required firefighters to attended to extinguish it. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel at the scene and a covering water jet was required to help fight the fire from above. The crews stripped back parts of the building to fully extinguish the fire and used a large fan to remove smoke. They worked at the incident for approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Smoke alarms activated and raised the alarm to this fire.
