Chowley Oak Lane was closed after emergency and electricity services dealt with an incident involving an electricity pole on fire. A cordon was set up around the affected area and, once the electricity was isolated, firefighters used hose reel jets to put out the flames and dampen the surrounding area. A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor the temperature and ensure there were no hotspots.
