A campfire that had been left unattended was found by a passerby and reported. Firefighters travelled on foot to reach the fire, which also involved surrounding grass, and put out using water and beating equipment.
Please do not be tempted to start any fire outdoors and never, ever leave one unattended like this. If you a see any fire outdoors please always report it by calling 999, so it doesn't have time to get out of hand.
