One fire engine from Powey Lane and a fire engine from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service
Details
Fire crews were called to a fire involving a combine harvester and bushes after a hay bale is believed to have caught fire in the compacting process. Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area. The thermal imaging camera was used to ensure there were no further hot spots that could reignite the fire.
