Fire crews were called to concerns that a vehicle may be on fire, which was pulling a horse box. On arrival, there was thankfully no sign of fire, but the vehicle had overheated and was unable to tow the horse box any further. Crews assisted in detaching the trailer and stabled it with blocks and wedges. A horse was inside the trailer at the time but was unharmed by the incident. Arrangements were made for a temporary roadblock while the horse was transferred to another vehicle safely.
