Nepal in all its splendour

Team photoThis morning the team had an early start to hike up to 3,300 metres to Ratangge Danda to its viewing point which has a clear view of Mount Everest and its surrounding mountainous giants. The team began the hike at 8am and were accompanied by a local four legged friend who travelled to the top and back down with the team.

The team navigated their way through stunning ancient forest which had an abundance of insect and flower life, making for an enlightening experience along the way. Once the team reached the top of the ridge they were welcomed by the breath-taking views of the snowy Himalayan mountain range. Unfortunately Everest was blocked by cloud cover.

In the afternoon the team hiked down to a local village, Salleri, where they experienced the local culture and how the Nepalese live within the hillside.
