One fire engine from Warrington and one from Penketh
Details
A fire in a bedroom of an Amelia Street property was reported. Firefighters in breathing apparatus rapidly deployed into the building with a hose reel jet. Everyone was accounted for and the fire was put out.
A high pressure fan was used to clear smoke, gas and electricity supplies isolated and the loft space inspected to ensure the fire hadn't spread. An investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out.
