One fire engine from Macclesfield, one from Bollington and one from Wilmslow

A fire involving a domestic garage saw two properties being evacuated as firefighters tackled the blaze. A cordon was established as crews worked to isolate the electrics and four firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters continued to cool the garage. The gas supplier was asked to attend to ensure there was no damage to the incoming gas supply and an investigation into the cause of the fire is being carried out.
