One fire engine from Lymm and one from Altrincham (Greater Manchester FRS)

Lane one of the M6 at Lymm was closed while firefighters used a hose reel jet to dampen down the rear axle of a heavy goods vehicle. A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor temperatures until the axle was fully cooled with the hose reel.
