One fire engine from Runcorn and one from Frodsham
Details
Firefighters used a hose reel water jet to extinguish two domestic wheelie bins alight. There was minor damage to the outside of the property and a large fan was used to clear smoke. It is believed that the probable cause of the fire was hot ashes from a log burner being disposed of.
