UPDATE AT 21:10 | Firefighters were called to reports of a fire on the first floor above a takeaway. They are tackling the fire wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reel water jets. The premises has been evacuated and crews are checking that fire has not spread within adjoining properties and a shared roof space.
UPDATE AT 22:10 | The number of fire engines has been reduced to two. All persons have been accounted for. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
