Five fire engines from WInsford, Northwich, Middlewich, Frodsham and Crewe

Crews were called to reports of a fire on the ground floor of a large domestic property. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were deployed with hose reel water jets to tackle the fire, while a covering jet was used from the outside of the building.
All occupants have been accounted for. One person was treated by firefighters for the effects smoke inhalation and passed to the care of ambulance crews.
Personnel remain at the scene, damping down. The cause of the fire will now be investigated.
