Firefighters were called to a fire in a ground floor flat in a two-storey property. One hose reel was used to put the fire out and everyone inside was accounted for. Paramedics attended to support two residents suffering from smoke inhalation. A large fan was used to remove smoke from the flat and it is believed smoke alarms activated and raised the alarm.
