Firefighters were called to reports of a car fire on Manchester Road, Northwich. They found a car well alight, with the embers spreading to the roof of a nearby garage. Crews used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to extinguish the car and damp down the roof.
The aerial ladder platform was used to help crews review the roof structure from above to ensure that the fire had been fully extinguished.
