Two fire engines from Warrington and Stockton Heath

Fire crews arrived to a bus which was well alight on the road. A cordon was immediately put in place to keep traffic away from the incident. The bus was not carrying any passengers at the time and the driver was safely accounted for. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor the bus for hot spots. Crews handed the incident over to the police to manage traffic until the bus could be recovered.
