Crews were called to a road traffic collision in Runcorn, involving one vehicle which had collided with a lamppost and become wedged.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to remove the windscreen of the vehicle, allowing one casualty to self-extricate, who was then passed into the care of paramedics on-scene.
