Firefighters were called to reports of smoke and a fire at a refuse centre in Crewe.
The fire, which consisted of plastic piping, measured approximately 6 metres by 3 metres, and was extinguished using a hose reel jet.
The incident was left with police, who were in attendance as this is believed to have been lit deliberately.
