Fire crews were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car. Thankfully, no one had to be rescued, and it is thought that both vehicles sustained minor damage and were moved to the hard shoulder.
Firefighters gave precautionary checks to those involved - no one is believed to have sustained serious injuries.
At 15:48 fire crews handed the incident over to Highways and left the scene.
