Fire crews are in attendance at a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and an LGV.
Firefighters have assessed one casualty trapped in the car and decided to carry out a full roof removal to release them.
The road is closed, and fire engines are being used to fend off traffic while the incident is dealt with.
At 14:43, one casualty was released from the car by firefighters and handed over to the care of paramedics to be taken to hospital by ambulance.
