Fire crews were requested to assist with the rescue of two casualties believed to have been involved in an incident with a tractor on Chester Road in Dunham-on-the-Hill. On arrival, the two casualties were not physically trapped or in need of rescuing but were stabilised by firefighters alongside paramedics who were also on the scene. Two fire engines were released from the incident immediately, while one fire engine from Chester remained with paramedics to support them with the casualties. Both casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance. Police were also in attendance to manage the cordon.
