One fire engine from Runcorn and one fire engine from Lymm attended.
Details
A controlled bonfire near a motorway was extinguished by firefighters. Although the bonfire wasn’t affecting the motorway, crews extinguished it as a precaution because of the wind direction and potential risk to motorists.
Crews used an on-site digger to break up the bonfire and a hose reel jet to extinguish it.
