There are currently nine fire engines in attendance; from Ellesmere Port, Powey Lane, Chester (x2), Runcorn, Widnes, Lymm, Warrington and a supporting engine from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, plus an aerial ladder platform.
These have been supported by relief crews from across Cheshire.

Firefighters are tackling a fire at a commercial building on Chester Road, Ellesmere Port.
A significant part of the building has been affected by fire and crews have split the incident into sectors to tackle the blaze.

Over half of the building has been affected by fire, which has breached the roof. Firefighters are fighting the fire externally to prevent any further spread.

Firefighters continue to tackle the fire externally. The incident has been split into sectors to deal with, utilising an area ladder platform, hose reels and main jet.
Crews have made progress in fighting the fire and the number of fire engines at the scene will shortly reduce to four, along with an aerial ladder platform.
Crews are expected to be in attendance for some time.

Firefighters continue to tackle the fire externally. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have gained entry to the building and are using a firefighting lance to apply water.
Relief crews are now attending to take over from the first fire engines on scene.
UPDATE AT 08:15 ON 2 AUGUST
Firefighters have been continuing to fight pockets of fire within the building using main jets, hose reel jets and an aerial ladder platform.
The nearby roads have now been reopened.
