Two fire engines from Powey Lane and Ellesmere Port
Details
Firefighters attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the M56. All three lanes of the carriageway were closed by Police and National Highways while the incident was dealt with. Thankfully, no one was trapped in the vehicles.
Crews made the vehicles electrically safe by disconnecting the batteries.
Firefighters administered first aid to one casualty until paramedics arrived shortly after to assess them.
