At 18:30, crews were called to a fire in a building in Warrington. On arrival, firefighters discovered a fire on the first floor of the building, and began tackling it externally using a hose reel. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus then entered the building and continued firefighting internally with a second hose reel. The incident was sectorised, with one team focused on firefighting and another looking for signs of fire spread. A ladder was used to access different areas of the building, and a thermal imaging camera to help identify hotspots.
