Conservatory fire in Crewe

Crews were called to a fire in the conservatory of a house in Crewe. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, and checks were carried out to ensure the fire had not spread to the main part of the house. A high-pressure fan was then used to clear smoke from the property. All persons were accounted for. One person was given initial first aid by firefighters for smoke inhalation before being handed over to the care of paramedics, who took the casualty to hospital. This is believed to have started accidentally.
