UPDATE AT 17:50 | Crews are currently in attendance at a fire in a house in Runcorn. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are tackling the fire using a hose reel. All persons are accounted for.
UPDATE at 18:22 | The fire has now been extinguished. Firefighters are damping down the affected areas using a hose reel, and a high-pressure fan is being used to clear smoke from the property.
Crews entered a neighbouring property to check for any signs of fire spread, and a high-pressure fan was used to ventilate the premises.
One casualty has been taken to hospital by paramedics.
