Crews responded to a road traffic collision involving three vehicles. One person was reported to be trapped in their vehicle - firefighters worked with police and a medical advisor to plan the best approach to release them. UPDATE | 16:21 The door of the vehicle was removed, along with the roof, to allow access to the casualty. All other involved vehicles were made safe. Paramedics also attended and cared for the casualty. The road was closed by police while the incident was dealt with. UPDATE | 20:30 Firefighters were at the scene for approximately two hours and 10 minutes.
