Two fire engines from Chester, one from Ellesmere Port, one from Powey Lane and the aerial ladder platform

Crews were called to reports of a deep fat fryer on fire in the kitchen of a restaurant. The fire had already been put out with a foam extinguisher out when they arrived. Two people were assessed by paramedics for smoke inhalation. The restaurant was able to reopen after the incident.
