Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on West Lane in Runcorn, in which one of the cars had overturned onto its roof. None of the occupants required rescuing and had got out of the vehicles themselves. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to monitor the vehicles involved. One person is reported to have received care from paramedics at the scene. Police have closed the road while the incident is being dealt with.
