On arrival, crews found two lithium‑ion batteries outside which had been on fire. On-site staff had extinguished the fire using a foam extinguisher. The batteries were moved by firefighters into a large watertight container, and crews used a hose reel jet to fill the container and cool them. Crews monitored the submerged batteries using a thermal imaging camera and a gas detector and advised the site about safe disposal.
