Crews were in attendance throughout the night at a fire involving a commercial premises in Warrington. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) to tackle the blaze and prevent fire spread. As the incident progressed, crews successfully extinguished the fire and ensured there was no fire spread to neighbouring properties. Crews dampened down the building and removed roof tiles to expose any potential hotspots. By early morning, the incident was scaled down to two pumps, with crews using thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots. All persons were accounted for, and firefighters remained on scene to monitor conditions. A fire investigation was conducted, and it is believed that the fire began accidentally.
