Fire crews attended a vehicle that was heavily smoking from underneath the engine area.
An on‑site mechanic helped to remove parts of the vehicle’s bodywork so crews were able to access the full engine compartment.
The cab was fully ventilated, and firefighters used one hose reel jet to damp down insulation that had caught fire due to the engine overheating.
Thermal imaging checks were carried out and the vehicle was left with a responsible person.
