Firefighters attended a three-vehicle road traffic collision in Handforth. Police closed the road in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
No one was trapped and firefighters made one vehicle safe by removing the battery. Crews helped paramedics assess four casualties - three were taken to hospital for precautionary checks. The scene was left with police.
