Two fire engines from Powey Lane and Ellesmere Port

A section of Parkgate Road (A540) near the junction with Badgers Rake Lane has been closed by police while emergency services deal with a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
Firefighters walked two casualties out of one vehicle. The second vehicle has overturned onto its side and one person is trapped. Crews are planning how to release them safely from their vehicle. North West Ambulance Service is also in attendance.
UPDATE 09:15 | All three casualties are now in the care of paramedics. Firefighters have made the vehicles safe and handed the incident over to police who will maintain the road closure while vehicles are recovered.
