Two fire engines from Powey Lane and Ellesmere Port
Details
Firefighters were called to a fire in a ground-floor flat in Ellesmere Port.
Firefighters entered the property wearing breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots and a high-pressure fan was then used to ventilate the property.
One casualty was given initial care by firefighters.
This is believed to have been caused by the battery of an electric bike.
