Firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on the M6 Northbound between Junctions 16 and 17.
The road was fully closed by police while emergency services dealt with the incident. Firefighters provided initial casualty care while paramedics made their way to the scene.
Two lanes have since reopened and the incident has been handed over to National Highways.
