Nine fire engines are in attendance, from Widnes, Runcorn, Penketh, Congleton, Crewe, Frodsham, Northwich, a weekday fire engine and a fire engine from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.
These are being supported by specialist resources including a command unit, a water bowser, a high volume pump and a welfare unit.

Firefighters are in attendance at a fire in a waste recycling facility in Pickerings Road, Widnes.
The fire involves a large amount of waste material and has spread to a steel framed building. Crews have split the incident into sectors to manage. Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets to tackle the fire.
There is a smoke plume being generated by the fire. Nearby residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed.
