Fire crews attended a small fire involving a conifer hedge between properties on Ordsall Close.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area. Crews carried out safety checks at both affected addresses before leaving.
The fire was accidental and is believed to have spread from burning garden waste.
