Firefighters are currently in attendance at a house and outbuilding that are well alight in Cox Bank.
The incident has been sectorised, and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using several main jets and hose reel jets to bring the blaze under control.
Residents in the vicinity are advised to keep windows and doors closed due to the amount of smoke being produced by the fire.
All persons have been safely accounted for.
