Emergency services are at an incident on Holmes Chapel Road.
There has been a fire involving the cab of a flatbed truck which has been extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using hose reel jets.
There are no reports of fire spread to nearby properties.
Two more vehicles have also been involved in a road traffic collision nearby and came to rest against the front wall of a property. Crews have been working to make the vehicles safe and check the affected property for damage.
Police are also in attendance, and Holmes Chapel Road is closed while emergency services deal with the incident.
UPDATE 13:45 | Fire crews are preparing to leave the incident. A police cordon will remain in place and the road is still closed at this time.
