Arley Drive, Widnes
One fire engine from Runcorn was called to reports of an uncontrolled bonfire in Arley Drive, Widnes.
Leyland Walk, Winsford
Winsford firefighters put out a small fire which consisted of wood panelling and wheelie bins. Cheshire Police also attended the scene.
Dart Walk, Winsford
One fire engine from Winsford was mobilised to reports of an unattended bonfire in Dart Walk. The fire, which was extinguished, consisted of wood and a wheelie bin. Cheshire Police were also in attendance.
Tedder Square, Widnes
One fire engine from Runcorn attended a report of a bonfire in Tedder Square, Widnes.
Cheviot Square, Winsford
Winsford firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish a small fire consisting of wood.
Thornton Road, Ellesmere Port
Ellesmere Port firefighters used two hose reels to put out a large bonfire near a public house in Ellesmere Port.
Runcorn Road, Barnton
Firefighters from Northwich used a bucket of water to put out a small unattended fire in Barnton.
Kennington Park, Widnes
Penketh firefighters attended a report of an unattended bonfire.
Quadrant Close, Runcorn
Widnes firefighters used one hose reel to put out an unattended bonfire which was close to fence panels.
Festival Road Playing Fields, Ellesmere Port
Firefighters from Ellesmere Port attended a bonfire at the playing fields off Festival Road. After assessing the risk of the bonfire, adivce was given to those supervising it and it was left to burn.
William Johnson Gardens, Ellesmere Port
One fire engine from Ellesmere Port was called to a bonfire in WIlliam Johnson Gardens. Due to the size and location of the bonfire, the decision was made to use a hose reel jet to put the fire out.
Percival Lane, Runcorn
One fire engine from Runcorn put out a bonfire near to Percival Lane.
Bunbury Green, Ellesmere Port
One fire engine from Ellesmere Port was mosibilised to a bonfire in Ellesmere Port. After deeming the area safe and adults being present, the bonfire was allowed to continue burning.
Castle Mill Lane, Ashley
Two fire engines, from Wilmslow and Wythenshawe (Greater Manchester) were called to reports of a fire in the open. Crews used a water relay to provide water to the large bonfire, with a concern that resulting smoke could impact on the flight path into nearby Manchester Airport.
The high reach fire engine from Macclesfield and the water bowser from Ellesmere Port were called to support crews in providing water. Firefighters remain on scene.
Windmill Drive, Audlem
The crew from Audlem were called to a report of an unsupervised bonfire at the rear of a property in Windmill Drive.
Mount Pleasant, Winsford
One fire engine from Winsford was mobilised to a bonfire behind a shop. This involved a wheelie bin which had been set alight. Firefighters used a hose reel jet and stack drag to put the fire out.
Tattenhall, near Chester
One fire engine from Chester attended reports of a large fire near a commercial premises in Tattenhall. This was a large bonfire, which the crew extinguished using one hose reel jet due to the proximity of the bonfire to buildings.
